The first story to be told in 100 years of magic in the Disney on ice show is of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs which was visualized by the production studio in the late 1930s, and since then has achieved the status of a classic amongst audiences of all age groups. The story is of a young princess living with her father and step mother who is made to flee the kingdom after her father dies and the step mother after becoming the queen hatches a plan to have her killed for her beautiful looks. Whilst on the run and living in jungle Snow White befriends seven dwarfs who help her later when in another attempt by the queen to kill her, she falls into a magic sleep.

The other story which is a huge favorite with everyone is of Cinderella, about a young girl from ordinary family who catches the eye of a handsome prince at a ball and becomes a princess after marrying him. This story is followed by The Little Mermaid which sees a young mermaid wishing to go where no one from her kind has gone before, the dry land, and being able to walk amongst humans. But she can pull this impossible feat only if she can have a human fall in love with her.

A story from recent times which also finds its place in the hugely popular show is of Finding Nemo, the journey across the ocean a father fish makes to find his son who has been taken captive by humans out for fishing. Then there is the much loved children's tale Aladdin, about a young boy who finds a magic lamp and his adventures thereafter which brings an element of magic and wonder to the show. All of these stories are retold brilliantly in a short span of time with music which is delightful and dance routines that make you wish to join the cast on the ice field.
